Wick Trimmers help maintain your candles at a quarter-of-an-inch to keep your candles bright and burning evenly and to avoid unnecessarily big, dangerous flames and waste wax.

 

How do you use a wick trimmer? Grab the trimmer by the handles, placing the index finger and thumb inside the holes, and carefully accommodate the blades in a horizontal position relative to the wick, parallel to the wax and in the desired height (as mentioned above, a quarter-of-an-inch or 4/5 mm is the ideal size) and cut.

 

Candle Care:

Trim your wick before each use to 1/4 in (5mm). Allow an initial burn for 2-3 hours to build a melt pool and prevent tunneling. Never burn your candle for more than 3 hours at a time. Burn candles on a level heat-safe surface, away from drafts, and out of reach of pets, children, and draperies & furniture. Never leave your candle unattended! Stop burning the candle when there's 1/2 inch of unmelted wax remains.
